JT Foster

Foster is a lifelong resident of Belton, South Carolina. Following in his father’s footsteps, he found a calling to serve as a law enforcement professional. Foster was hired at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Uniform Patrol Division. He worked his way up to the rank of Staff Sergeant and serves as the Public Information Officer for the agency.
 
Foster earned an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Tri-County Technical College in 2011. He graduated from Anderson University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2014. Foster began the journey of earning his master’s degree from the Command College of South Carolina at Anderson University, completing in 2018. Throughout all of his academic endeavors, he has continued to work and raise a family full-time.
 
Foster married his wife Noel in 2006. Together, they have three girls – Cloie, Carsen, and Caroline. The Foster family resides in Belton and has two dogs.
