In my 16 years at the Anderson County Sheriff’s office, I have held many roles, but all of these jobs had one thing in common. I always made sure the people and families of Anderson remained my #1 priority.
Recently, while thinking about what I hope to see in our community's future, I realized it was time for me to step up to the plate to run for Probate Judge in Anderson County.
As a man of God, a husband, and as a father, I know the importance of treating everyone fairly and listening to all sides before rendering any decision.
I want to be a judge who puts the well-being of families first.
I am grateful for my years of service and background in local law enforcement. This has prepared me for any number of new challenges. Serving as your next Probate Judge would be an honor for me because I know Anderson needs someone who is both compassionate and highly organized. These are skills I utilize each and every day on the police force.
A good officer knows that you never go into a new assignment without advance planning and preparation. That’s why I want to share my vision for Anderson’s future Probate Court with all of you:
Make transparency and accessibility a reality, not a desire, in county government.
Listen intently and thoroughly to every citizen in order to make just decisions with positive, lasting results.
Work closely with other local agency leadership and law enforcement officials to provide the best all-around service for families that I can.
When a person has to visit the Probate Court, they are likely going through very difficult and stressful times in their lives. The last thing I ever want to do is oversee an office that adds to your discomfort.
I promise to lead a Probate Court that is responsive, efficient, transparent, and genuinely cares about the people it serves.
If I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting you, I am looking forward to the chance to connect on the campaign trail over the next several months.
